What happened

A 34-year-old man was seriously injured after the explosion of a device, whose origin has yet to be established, in the area of the Power Plant of San Pier d’Isonzo, in the province of Gorizia. Local sources have speculated that it may be a remnant of war. The device blew up for causes yet to be clarified, and the man was injured in the hands and upper body. Law Enforcement Agencies are investigating to see where the device came from and why the victim was handling it.
