Nigerian Air Force counter-terrorism operation in Borno State

The Nigerian Air Force has announced that the aerial component of Operation Hadin Kai has successfully identified and dismantled a terrorist improvised explosive device (IED) factory and a concealed depot in Grazah, Borno State. In a statement released by the Nigerian Air Force, Director of Public Relations and Information AVM Edward Gabkwet confirmed that the airstrikes were conducted in response to credible intelligence. The operation represents an ongoing effort to deter terrorist attacks against civilians in Borno State, employing tactics including the use of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and suicide bombers. As reported by military sources, the aerial operation resulted in the neutralisation of several terrorists.
