Six killed in explosion during cleanup in Tajoura

A fatal explosion at a military site in Tajoura, east of Tripoli, resulted in the deaths of six individuals. The incident occurred during a clearance operation at the “Martyr Sabriya” Battalion headquarters. Two Libyan citizens were among the casualties, while the remainder were identified as African workers. In a statement, the Ministry of the Interior of Libya confirmed the incident and noted that human remains had been discovered at the scene. In response to the incident, the Director of Security in Tajoura, accompanied by emergency and investigative teams, proceeded to the site to initiate an inquiry.
