Fire in a chemical plant in Vicenza province

A fire broke out at a facility in Monticello Conte Otto (Province of Vicenza), renowned for manufacturing chemical tanning products. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. The firefighting team quickly extinguished the fire, and an ARPAV delegation (Veneto Regional Environment Agency) was dispatched to assess the environmental consequences of the incident. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown and is being investigated by the fire brigade’s technicians. A full closure of the impacted areas was enforced overnight, and remediation efforts are in progress at the site.
