Many users reported on social media that they experienced problems making payments with the Postfinance app. Twint announced that the service problems are related to the DDoS attack on Swisscom and that they are constantly monitoring the situation and resolving the issues. Swisscom emphasised that these cyber attacks have become a daily reality and that they are taking better protective measures against them.
