What happened

According to sources, an improvised explosive device was detonated via remote control in Akhtarabad area. The blast occurred near a vehicle carrying a contingent of the Frontier Corps (FC) while they were patrolling the Western Bypass area. The explosion resulted in the death of one soldier and the wounding of another, as well as damage to the vehicle. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the explosion.
