In Croatia, two significant companies, Badel 1862 and Labud, have been targeted by the Blackout ransomware group. After stealing the companies’ data, the hackers provided a sample containing sensitive information like partners’ phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, and financial information. Additionally, Labud’s business data was encrypted.
As is customary, the cybercriminal group has demanded a ransom to be paid by July 12, 2024. The two blackmailed companies have not issued official statements regarding the incident.
