According to police, three people were killed and seven others were injured as a remote-controlled explosive device went off in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mardan district.
According to sources, the explosive device was planted near the Jalala Bridge in the Takhtbhai area and was detonated by remote control as the police van passed by. The explosion damaged the police vehicle and a rickshaw, claiming the lives of three rickshaw passengers and injuring seven others, including two police officers.
