Italy reports a new case of Dengue in Certaldo

What happened

A new Dengue case has been reported in the Empoli area by ASL Toscana Centro. The patient, a resident of the Certaldo municipality, contracted the arbovirus from Dengue after traveling abroad. Currently, the patient is in good condition and is recuperating at home. Investigations and on-site inspections are underway to guarantee that suitable disinfection treatments are conducted around the patient’s residence, safeguarding public health as outlined by ministerial guidelines.
