According to officials, a roadside improvised explosive device went off in Baluchistan province. The explosion killed a woman and two children. Four people were walking through an area in Turbat district when the device exploded. In an official statement to the press, local police chief Dad Bakhsh asserted that the bomb was planted by “terrorists”. Meanwhile, two security personnel were killed in an overnight rocket attack on their post in Jamrud, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province bordering Afghanistan. No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
