What happened

Iran has always denied it wants to acquire nuclear weapons, but the rapid expansion of its nuclear program is considered to have no credible civilian justification. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Tehran is the only non-nuclear state to enrich uranium at 60%. These would be levels of enrichment close to 90%, which needed for the production of nuclear weapons. Responding to the seriousness of the situation, European diplomats would present a proposal against Iran at the meeting in Vienna. France, Germany and Britain will seek to censure Iran for its lack of cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog at a council meeting in the coming days.
