What happened

According to sources, a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) detonated in the municipality of Jamundí, in the Valle del Cauca region. A motorcycle exploded in front of a gym a few meters from the headquarters of the Bancolombia Bank. The explosion injured four civilians and two police officers. The Colombian government attributed the attack to the Estado Mayor Central (EMC), a dissident faction of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
