According to a joint statement from the Interior Ministry and ANAMA (Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action), an explosion occurred as an unexploded ordnance (UXO) went off in the village of Sirkhavand, Aghdam district. The explosion injured an employee of ANAMA when he was on duty. The Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the event. No further details have been released.
