What happened

A car loaded with explosives went off in front of a mosque in Kabul as worshippers walked out after Friday prayers killing at least seven people and wounded 41, including several children, a Taliban official stated. Afghan media outlets have reported the death toll to be nine. Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran has pointed out that all victims are civilians. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing — the latest in a series of deadly bomb attacks during Friday prayers across Afghanistan.
