What happened

An explosion took place when unidentified individuals on motorcycles launched an explosive device, specifically a hand grenade, at the ancestral home of a former Pakistani State Minister and Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Sheharyar Afridi in Kohat. The blast caused material damage to the gate and enclosure walls without proving any injuries. The police are investigating the assault. No further details are currently available.
