According to sources, a police post was targeted by hand grenades in Jumma Khan’s area, the jurisdiction of Nasir Bagh police station, in Peshawar. Unidentified persons hurled three hand grenades at a police post, one of which detonated without resulting in any casualties. As per details, the attackers fled after the police opened fire. The other explosives were later defused by the bomb disposal unit.
Police have launched an investigation into the event and CCTV footage has been reviewed to identify the attackers.
