According to local authorities, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted along the Maiduguri-Dikwa-Gamboru Ngala road has killed seven people, including a telecommunication expert. The incident occurred on the road between Dikwa and Logomani village, about 80 kilometres from Maiduguri, when their vehicles hit the planted IED.
