The documentary check revealed that the driver was carrying cylinders with approximately 1,500 kilograms of refrigerant gas R427A – classified as dangerous because asphyxiating in high concentrations in the event of a spillage – despite not having acquired the ADR professional training certificate required for the safe transportation of hazardous materials.
