What happened

According to the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) department’s statement, the joint forces in East DRC – the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo and UPDF – are committed to keeping Uganda and Eastern DRC safe and secure. The UPDF has urged Ugandans to maintain vigilance as they continue to pursue the Allied Defence Forces rebels in Eastern DRC.
