What happened

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, during a meeting with ROSATOM Director General Alexei Likachev, has considered adding two more units at the Rooppur NPP, currently in the course of construction, stressing also the need for technical surveys in the early stages of planning the new units. The discussions were on implementing a project and the future construction of a multi-purpose high-power research reactor.
