According to The Africa CDC’s Weekly Event-Based Surveillance Report, the NCDC reported 360 new cases (35 confirmed; 325 suspected) and four new deaths of lassa fever (CFR: 11,4%) from eight of 36 states. Cumulatively, 5492 cases (766 confirmed; 4726 suspected) and 142 deaths (CFR: 18.5%) of lassa fever have been reported from 27 of 36 states.
