What happened

According to The Africa CDC’s Weekly Event-Based Surveillance Report, the Ministry of Health (MoH) reported 337 new cases (55 confirmed; 282 suspected) and one new death of dengue fever from Bamako (328 cases; 1 death), Koulikoro (8; 0), and Sikasso (1; 0) regions. Cumulatively, 2390 cases (410 confirmed; 1980 suspected) and one death (CFR: 0,04%) of dengue fever have been reported from nine of ten regions in Mali. Two serotypes (VDEN-1 and VDEN-3) were detected among confimed cases.
