Rattler Supersonic Target’s First Successful Flight

British company QinetiQ has announced the successful first flight of the Rattler Supersonic Target MkI, a Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV), in collaboration with the US Department of Defense, as part of the High Energy Laser Measurement (HELM) Rattler program. The flights, integral to the High Energy Laser Measurement (HELM) Rattler program and a QinetiQ-sponsored Research and Development initiative, yielded initial data for this particular design of the unmanned target.
