What happened

The European Defence Agency (EDA) has developed an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) that will enhance defence capabilities for manned and unmanned aerial platforms. The system was developed within the European active electronically scanned array with Combined Radar, Electronic Warfare and Communications functions for military applications (CROWN) project, formed by a consortium of seven european countries.
