What happened

In Chinon, western France, the nuclear operator EDF closed two reactors after a fire broke out in a non-nuclear part of the plant. Interestingly, this facility is among the oldest nuclear power plants in France, and the fire has led to a power outage that has consequently started the automatic closure.
